Lacy’s father, Aaron Rose (1947-2020) owned an Arby’s at the Leesburg Mall in Leesburg, FL. Her mother, Cynthia Jensen (1967-2043) was a paid Welcome to Lake County representative for the Lake County Business Association. Lacy was an only child whose parents had great difficulty conceiving.
Lacy received her first genetic modification in 2010 in the summer between seventh and eighth grade. Her second occurred in 2014 while she was attending Lake Sumpter Community College.
In 2015, she married contractor turned real estate developer Jerry Casiano (1975-2016) who owned a sizable inventory of houses in the Howie-in-the-Hills, Florida area. Many of his properties were in distress and all were worth less than what he had invested in them. In 2016, Casiano shot himself. His creditors took the property but Lacy was still left with close to two million dollars in debt. One year later, the market corrected, and the banks were able to sell the properties at a sizable profit, which did not affect Lacy’s debt.
While she was married to Casiano, Lacy began working at The Villages as a sales associate. After Casiano’s death, Lacy received her real estate sales license and began networking with mortgage brokers, property insurance agents and estate attorneys.
In 2017, she married retired chemist Brian Moore (1947-2021) who was looking for a home in the area. They divorced in 2018, and as part of the settlement, Moore took over Lacy’s debt and added her to his existing life insurance policies as primary beneficiary. Moore’s three children launched a legal challenge to the change to their status on his insurance policies, but the suit was thrown out in 2020. Appeals were still being written at the time of his death. During the proceedings, it was uncovered that at least six of Lacy’s clients had recently redrawn their wills naming her as sole beneficiary.
Shortly after her divorce from Moore, Lacy married Alexander Jonas (1927-2018) the owner of a small chain of pool supply stores in Ohio. Lacy had arranged Jonas’ purchase of a large home overlooking Lake Dora. Jonas suffered a massive heart attack three weeks after the wedding leaving his business to Lacy. She sold the chain for a sizable amount
Between her third and fourth marriages, Lacy received her third genetic augmentation.
In the autumn of the same year, Lacy married personal injury attorney and repeated failed state assembly candidate Lawrence Faulkner (1971-2020). In 2020, Faulkner, an obese smoker, contracted COVID, succumbing one month later. That November, Lacy ran for the state assembly seat which Faulkner had tried for many times and won.
After the fall of the American nation, Lacy was appointed to a seat in the senate of the Free State of Florida. A short time later during the FSF Constitutional Convention, she met Cici Rimerez, a wealthy supporter of Kimberly Kruze whose supporters were often known as 'Kruzers'. Rose and Rimerez were married in 2032.
After her marriage to Rimerez, Lacy's politics grew far more Progressive. She joined the Sapphic Party, commonly referred to as the Ban Men party which was closely affiliated with Kruzer movement, and she became the main voice of the opposition to the FSF's ruling coalition.
She was the Ban Men candidate for National Governor of the Free State of Florida in 2040, 2044, 2048, 2052, 2068, and 2072. In a surprise upset, Lacy Rose won the position of National Governor in 2076. That year, none of the five candidates received a large enough percentage of the popular vote to certify a winner. Rose and the Sapphic Party only held five percent of the vote. The election moved to a special session of the FSF Assembly. On the thirtieth ballot with support for the candidates of the Constitution Party and the Seminole Party collapsing, Rose garnered 360 delegates, two more than the minimum needed to certify the election.
She was re-elected in 2080, becoming the last person to serve in that position before the Republic of California absorbed the Free State of Florida.
