Growing up in Florence, Jasmine had an uneventful life.  Her father was a barber.  Her mother worked for the DMV.  She went through school just short of being an 'A' student without ever putting in effort.  She failed to find anything she felt was worth trying to succeed at. After high school, she drifted into the army and lost herself in becoming part of the group.  She entered the Army as an E1 Private and was trained as an Army Corpsman.  She was promoted to E2 and then E3.  She did not reenlist after her first contract and left the service as a Private First Class.   

Jasmine did not receive her first genetic modification until she was in the army.  An operative forwarded her medical file to the Pleiadeans and she was brought aboard the orbital platform. Her second was not performed until she was activated and working as a laboratory assistant in the facility in Homestead.  Her measured scores appeared to be lower than her demonstrated abilities which cast doubt on her not being previously augmented in one of Ailrinni's secret programs.

After the Hoagland Institute relocated to Barrett Base on Luna and the majority of the human population infected with nanites from the DeMarco Nanite Virus, the need for augmentation lab-techs dropped dramatically.  Doctor LaCroix reassigned Jasmine to the new position of Genetic Sample Acquisition which she proved to be especially adept at.
